The first Black British Entertainment Awards is set to be launched this October in London. This is the most anticipated Awards Ceremony in the Black Community. Black British Entertainment, a UK based entertainment company aims to celebrate the excellence of black talents.
Entertainment, being an essential tool in building unity and solidarity in the society, BBE is set to celebrate the hard work, achievement, and successes of black talents in the entertainment industry.
- The first BBE AWARDS nominations have been announced on the BBE website.
The Nominee Reception & Awards Launch will take place in London on 28th October 2017 and will be presented by Rodney Earl Clarke. Rodney will debut his new Classic Album ‘Glorious Quest’ on the Night. The Night will feature special guest performances, nominees, celebrity presenters representing the best of black British talents.
The Night will also witness an Art exhibition and performance by the renowned visual artist, Eugene Ankomah.
Speaking to BBE PR Asare Adwoa, she said “Black British Entertainment is not just about Awards, though the Awards ceremony is a big part of what we are doing. BBE is about creating a platform where the color black is no longer a limitation to thrive in the entertainment industry. It’s always difficult to make it in an environment that hinders your talent. But BBE is here to change how black talents are celebrated in the mainstream media.”
BBE Awards will be honoring outstanding talents in music, fashion, film, TV, comedy, creative arts and social media.
