Ghana Society has participated in the Luton International Carnival for 11years and has won scooped top awards including overall winners in the carnival.
This year’s Luton Carnival theme is ‘celebrate the world’ to build our future.
The Ghana Society promises to unveil their fabulous cultural costumes showcasing Ghana’s rich culture.
The colourful Carnival parade is on 28th May and will start at 1.30pm on New Bedford Road and onto Old Bedford Road where the judging will take place. The carnival finishes at 6 pm in Wardown Park where there will be an array of world food cuisine to salivate your taste buds
There will also be an entertainment arena, dance zone with a variety of entertainment and performances from carnival groups, 3 sound stages and a fair ride to suit all the family.
With nearly 40 bands participating in this year’s carnival, it’s sure to be fantastic with a sea of colourful costumes and incredible sounds of carnival soca grooves and upbeat Afrobeats music.
Ghana Society is fervently preparing towards the carnival as usual and expecting special VIP guests and musicians to join us celebrate Ghana’s special anniversary.
All are invited to join our float for a wonderful carnival in true African style.
Ghana Society is the brainchild of the Ghana National carnival and will be touring various carnivals and festivals across Europe and USA promoting Ghana globally.
